Package overview
This sample plan uses the shinkansen (bullet train) to link Tokyo and Kyoto, so travellers see both the modern capital and the older imperial city without long travel days.
Along the way there is a stop at Lake Kawaguchi for Mount Fuji views and a night at a ryokan with an onsen bath – the kind of contrast that makes a Japan trip memorable.
Tokyo days cover Asakusa, Shibuya and Shinjuku, while Kyoto days focus on Gion, temples and the bamboo district.
